The Blackwood Manor. 

The people in the town of Blackwood would talk in low whispers about a manor that was located in the outskirts of the town. The name of the manor was Blackwood Manor and it was an estate that had seen better days. It had broken windows, an overgrown ivy infestation, and the atmosphere possessed an aura that was strange yet fascinating. The people of the town were of the opinion that it was inhabited by the last resident and that resident was none other than Eleanor Blackwood.

Lady Eleanor is considered to be rich due to her family and is also famous for being a recluse. According to the legends, Eleanor watched her family perish right in front of her in one night and ever since that night, she has been completely changed. Thereafter, she would wander throughout her house and, after some time, she too was lost to an unknown destiny. Following that, exploration in the manor was dormant, apart from the occasional people who seemed to have vanished mid-exploration. 

Amelia, is a budding historian who wanted to learn more about the Blackwood manor and especially, the story of Lady Eleanor Blackwood. Just like the locals, she was equally intrigued in the local tales regarding the haunted house.
